Feeling behind on your health goals this summer? Discover why you may still feel stuck, how symptoms connect, and why health alignment matters.
Every January, millions of people make promises to themselves.
This is the year.
This is the year I'll have more energy. This is the year I'll finally take better care of myself. This is the year my digestion will finally improve. This is the year I'll lose the weight. This is the year I'll feel more confident in my own skin.
For a little while, those goals feel exciting.
There's motivation.
Momentum.
A fresh start.
Then life happens.
Work gets busy. Kids need rides. Schedules fill. Unexpected challenges come along.
And before we know it...
Summer has arrived.
Suddenly we're halfway through the year wondering:
How did I end up right back where I started?
If you've had that thought, you're certainly not alone.
And more importantly...
It doesn't mean you've failed.
One of the biggest misconceptions I see is the belief that people don't reach their health goals because they simply aren't trying hard enough.
Honestly, I rarely find that to be true.
The people I work with are often some of the most dedicated people I've ever met.
They're reading books. Listening to podcasts. Following health experts. Researching symptoms. Trying different diets. Buying supplements. Looking for answers.
They're trying.
The challenge usually isn't a lack of effort.
It's that they're trying to navigate incredibly complex health challenges without a clear understanding of what deserves their attention first.
When you're trying to solve fatigue, digestive symptoms, food reactions, eczema, hormone imbalances, autoimmune disease, chronic pain, or weight struggles one symptom at a time, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
Because the body doesn't experience those symptoms as isolated events.
The body functions as one beautifully interconnected system.
That's one of the reasons I believe lasting healing begins with understanding the whole person- not just individual symptoms.
One of the things I love about summer is that it naturally invites reflection.
Not in a judgmental way. Just honestly.
How do I actually feel?
Do I have the energy I hoped I'd have?
Am I sleeping well?
Can I enjoy vacations without feeling exhausted afterward?
Do I recover well?
Do I feel comfortable in my own skin?
Can I be fully present with the people I love?
Sometimes the answer is yes.
Sometimes...
The answer is not yet.
And I think "not yet" is one of the most hopeful phrases we can say.
Because it reminds us that our story isn't finished.
One of the biggest shifts in my own career happened when I stopped viewing symptoms as separate problems that simply needed separate solutions.
Instead, I began seeing them as different ways the body communicates.
Fatigue. Digestive symptoms. Food reactions. Skin conditions. Hormone imbalances. Joint pain. Weight struggles. Anxiety.
While they may look completely different on the surface, they're all happening within the same body.
Gut health and nutrition.
Nervous system regulation and recovery.
Inflammation and detoxification.
Sleep, lifestyle, and emotional wellbeing.
These foundational areas don't just influence one symptom.
They influence how the body functions as a whole.
Over time, this way of thinking evolved into what I now call The Radiant Health Method- a framework that guides how I help people understand why they're still stuck and what deserves their attention first.
The Radiant Health Method is built on a simple idea:
Different symptoms can often reflect common underlying imbalances.
Instead of viewing the body as a collection of separate systems, it recognizes that our health is deeply interconnected. Symptoms are meaningful clues that can help us better understand where the body may be asking for support.
That's why my goal isn't simply to manage individual symptoms.
It's to help people connect the dots, identify what deserves their attention first, and create the conditions where healing can naturally occur.

When we begin connecting those dots, our next steps often become much clearer.
"The body wants to heal. Sometimes the greatest breakthrough comes from finally understanding what it's been trying to tell you." Dr. Beata
One of the biggest mistakes we make is believing we need another milestone before making a change.
Monday.
Next month.
After vacation.
When the kids go back to school.
January.
But healing doesn't follow the calendar.
The next nourishing meal still matters. The next walk still matters. The next good night's sleep still matters. The next boundary still matters.
The next decision to support your body still matters.
Small choices have an incredible way of changing direction over time.
One of the ideas I've become increasingly passionate about is health alignment.
To me, health alignment means bringing different parts of our lives into the same direction.
Alignment between:
When those pieces begin working together, healthy choices often stop feeling like something we constantly have to force.
Not because life suddenly becomes easier.
But because we're creating a life that's better aligned with the health we're hoping to build.
After more than two decades in healthcare, I've become convinced that most people don't need another trending list of foods to eat.
Or another random supplement. Or another generic protocol.
They need clarity.
They need someone who can help them step back, connect the dots, and understand why they've remained stuck despite trying so many things.
That's one of the reasons I love the work I do.
Helping people understand what deserves their attention first often saves years of unnecessary trial and error.
Because healing isn't about collecting more information.
It's about understanding what matters most for your body.
Maybe the first half of the year didn't unfold the way you hoped.
That happens.
But your story isn't finished.
Your body hasn't given up on you.
There is still time to create meaningful change. There is still time to build momentum. There is still time to create greater alignment.
Sometimes one clear next step is far more powerful than trying to change everything all at once.
Not at all. Healing doesn't follow the calendar. Every day offers another opportunity to support your body and move toward the health you want to create.
Life becomes busy. Stress, changing routines, competing priorities, and everyday responsibilities often make consistency difficult—even when motivation is still there.
Many people already have plenty of information. The challenge is often understanding which patterns deserve attention first and how seemingly unrelated symptoms may be connected.
Health alignment means creating greater consistency between your goals, your body's needs, your values, your daily actions, and the future you're working toward.
Symptoms are often meaningful clues rather than isolated problems. Looking at the bigger picture can provide greater clarity and help prioritize where to begin.

If you've been looking around this summer thinking,
"I thought I'd feel different by now."
I want you to know something.
You're not behind. You're not broken. And it's not too late.
The biggest breakthrough isn't discovering one more random thing to do.
It's finally understanding what your body has been trying to communicate- and what deserves your attention first.
That's exactly why I created my free masterclass:
Inside, I share the patterns I've noticed over more than two decades in healthcare that often keep people feeling stuck—even when they're genuinely trying.
Because lasting health isn't about trying harder.
It's about understanding what deserves your attention first and creating greater alignment with what your body truly needs.
