In fact, they play a role in your body’s ecosystem. That’s why trying to eradicate everything without balance can actually backfire. Your body isn’t a battlefield- it’s a delicate ecosystem that thrives on support, timing, and strategy.
When you push detox too hard, too fast, or without preparing your body, several things can go wrong. You can overload your liver, back up your gut, stall bile flow, and throw your nervous system into chaos.
And here’s a piece most people don’t realize: when you aggressively attack pathogens or parasites, they release toxins as they die. If your detox pathways aren’t open and supported, those toxins can recirculate through your system- making you feel even more miserable.
Your body will let you know when it’s struggling. You might notice:
